How to format a computer or laptop?

As technology grows and scams grow, so do the many invisible dangers to the computer. Many things, especially viruses and malware, can damage a computer's hardware and cause the operating system to malfunction. Although many antiviruses are currently on the market to protect the computer, even more powerful viruses can infiltrate the computer and destroy the computer and its data.

Hard disk

The only way to do this is to format and clean the computer. After formatting the computer becomes safe without viruses. And if you want to sell a used computer, you can recover your data from the hard disk, even if it is deleted. So the buyer will not be able to use any of your data if the computer is formatted and sold before selling. So it is essential that every computer owner knows about the format

Protect Data:

If you format or restore your computer then you will not be able to recover your data from it for any reason. So it is important to transfer all your important files and applications to another secure device before formatting the computer.

Software applications

If you want to back up everything in your operating system, there are software applications for sale in the market. Buy them and save them. Remove the required files from the hard disk and save them to an external drive

Formatting a Windows laptop:

You can go to the menu option on a Windows laptop, open Recovery and restore. Then just click Remove and reinstall Windows and everything on your computer will be restored. At this point Windows will ask you a few options. It is enough to choose it. After selecting this, the task of reinstalling your computer will begin. Keep in mind that after this step you will not be able to retrieve any data that you already have on your computer

Formatting an Apple Laptop:

Restart the Apple laptop first and then press the Command and R keys on the computer keyboard simultaneously when rebooting. In the menu that appears on the screen, select Disc Utility. Then release the Command and R keys. It will then display the drives that are connected to your computer on your computer screen. Go to the menu and select 'Erase' and click. In the pop-up menu that appears, select the Format option and select Mac OS Extended.

Extend drive

Then click Erase again and the formatting task will start. It is worth noting that no information can be retrieved from the computer after formatting on this Mac OS as well as Windows OS. It is therefore reminded again and again that it is necessary to save all the files on the computer with a different external drive before formatting.
